Flickering oil light on fairly new Vespa

What an incredible resource of info you have here I am a new Vespa owner (bought my Primavera 50 at the begging of the year) and having a problem. Couldnt find the exact issue here, and living in Germany where so few of the mechanics speak English, so thought I would post about it.

My fairly new Prim 50 (500km done, 7 months old), has started this strange behavior of flickering the oil light at odd intervals while I ride. Sometimes it is at the start of a trip, other times (like today), it comes and goes every 20 odd seconds. Its by no means a pattern (sometimes on for longer and sometimes no light for a while)

I didn't find the right solution from the internet.
